Research methods and quality
Understand where the data comes from, which results can be compared and what limits apply. Existing checks are explained with evidence, without a separate quality total score.
Data and methods
- Data scope
- State the study period, measured subjects, coverage and valid sample. Identify any scope not included.
- Applicable methods
- Attention readings use VISTA. Other modules use their own applicable methods, without a cross-module total score.
- Existing checks
- Show only checks supported by existing evidence. Distinguish checks not performed, insufficient evidence and non-applicability; do not invent confidence or completion states.
- Interpretation limits
- Explain which results can be compared and which cannot yet be judged. Missing numbers are not zero. An observed association is not proof of causation.
Business results first, then metrics and methods.
Reports retain module-specific business results and valid metrics, linked to supporting records. Data scope, applicable methods, existing checks and interpretation limits follow the results.
